Marmot padded it with plush 700 fill down and protected it in a sheen nylon fabric that has a waterproof/breathable MemBrain. Strong 2-layer reinforcements protect the elbows and shoulders from chairlifts and heavy snow. The hood entirely zips-off and features a bonded brim for extra protection from powerful winds. The powder skirt also zips-off, but comes in handy when you’ve found deep snow. The chest pocket is YKK AquaGuard zippered, and the lower handwarmer pockets are water-resistant.
