  A Warm Beast

  This parka is extremely warm. Very thick down surrounds you. Lots of pockets, but the hand warmers pockets are a little low for comfort. Very light compared to a Canada Goose Expedition for example. Not the prettiest of jackets for running about town and probably wouldn't need this much warmth in the city for many days of the winter. Nice touch is the "suspenders" built in so you can take the jacket off and hang it off your back when you're inside.

  Had previous model and sleeve ripped on velcro and when saw these changes, jumped on the occasion as this is a great jacket. Keeps very warm.

  Mountain Hardwear Absolute Zero Parka.

  I purchased this jacket for cold winter days in the city, in the mountains and high altitude adventures. So far it has been used for the first two. I went with this parka due to its reputation. The features I like on this jacket are all the pockets, the warmth, reinforced fabric in high abrasion areas and overall comfort. The one downside with this jacket is the packing size and weight. However, that's just the trade off of having denser fabric and lots of bells and whistles. It does run big, but parkas are designed that way as they usually go over another jacket, layers, etc.

  Supreme cold weather parka!

  For those who venture outside or to elevation where temperatures dip below minus 40 Celsius, you won’t find a warmer yet light and durable parka. Fantastic quality and features. Highly recommended. Note that it fits large (so go down one size if you’re not wearing 5 layers).

  Perfect Jacket

  I work outdoors in the winter in and this jacket is perfect. From -10 to -30. With a layer or two underneath, it kept me warm all day. And it’s super lightweight!

  Warmest Parka

  This is the 2020 model of the warmest parka from Mountain Hardwear. I bought it for high altitude climbs, but I can imagine it being used in cold expeditions/environments. The main difference I see from the previous model is the zippers in the armpits which allow ventilation and built in suspenders so you can take it off and keep it strapped to your back. I'm ~175 cm / 70kg and medium size works well, allowing some layers under it. Haven't used in the field yet, but very happy so far!

  Superbe parka bon look très chaud,très haute qualité finition coutures,utilisé par temps très froid en trekk ou en ski
