  Excellent Lightweight Sun Hoodie – Perfect for Campsite & Outdoor Use After 2 Weeks

  I've only had the Mountain Hardwear Crater Lake Hoody for two weeks, but it already impressed me during a recent campsite trip. The fabric is incredibly soft and comfortable against the skin, super lightweight, and provided great UPF 50+ protection with the full-coverage hood—ideal for sunny days without needing constant sunscreen. It breathed well during light activity around camp, wicked moisture effectively, and the thumbholes plus stretchy fit made it versatile for layering or standalone wear. True to size with a flattering cut, and it looks sharp in the teal color. Great value and quality so far! Highly recommend for outdoor enthusiasts

  One of my favorite sun hoodies. So comfortable and good fit. Hood is the perfect size. No anti-odor so it does get stinkier than the Alpenglow for example.

  Great fit and feel

  This shirt has a smooth and silky feel to it. Sizing is spot on according to the size chart. The only slight negative is that it is not as breathable as some other options so could be slightly warmer. However, for your moderate summer day (25 deg ish) you should be good

  He says that it’s comfortable and lightweight. Haven’t tested it in strong UV yet but it has great coverage and the thumb holes are nice! It fits true to size too. He took a medium like in all other brands like North Face and Tentree.

  Very happy with this sun hoody. The material is super soft and lightweight. I haven't tested it for heavy output activities yet but very happy with the feel and fit so far!
