I was looking for a small tent just for myself. I’m over 6 feet tall and this tent fits me perfectly. Not sure if I could get anyone else in here with me, but I don’t need to do it’s not an issue. I’m mainly concerned about the quality and water resistance and so far both have been great.

Great tent
Not the lightest tent, but definitely spacious and made of quality materials.

Great tent
I did lots of research before buying this tent. This is a good quality tent with lots of mesh for summer ventilation. It is also easy to set up.
The downside. A 2 person tent does not fit 2 tall adults comfortably, as I discovered when I unpacked and set it up in the living room. So, I did end up returning this tent and getting the 3 person version instead.
Recommended for use as a one person tent.

Spacieuse

Good tent!
I've assembled it once and so far so good. I was hoping that it might pack down a little tighter, and they didn't put a plastic cord stopper on the peg bag, which I found odd... but apart from that it's a good tent and is easy to set up =)

Not treated with flame-retardant chemicals
I bought this because it's one of a few that aren't treated with chemicals that would potentially harm my small kids. i.e. flame-retardant chemicals.
I would have given it 5 stars but slight issue with the tubes and the plastic cross section piece. Sometimes the tubes don't fully insert into the center cross section because there may be a bit too much plastic (due to probably plastic molding process) and it cracked one of the aluminum tubes a bit. Not a big issue but have to just make sure you fully insert it.

Early Thoughts
I haven’t had a proper chance to test outside my backyard yet, but some early thoughts:
Pros:
-much more spacious headroom wise than I expected
-very easy set up (<3 mins)
-dual zippers didn’t snag as other reviewers indicated. I’m sure they will at some point, but it’s not frequent
-packs down small
Cons:
- stuff sack is too large (nice for packing, but would ideally shrink through a strap
- zippers could be larger for longevity
Other thoughts: reviews who indicated fly wasn’t as tight as they expected; I had no problems especially with the corners pegged wide and straps pulled taut
Can’t speak to waterproofing yet

Attractive and airy
Just set this up for the first time and was impressed. The poles are all attached together so it’s very quick to erect and take down. Two really spacious doors. The light colour of the tarp fabric means it’s bright inside the tent during the day. What sold me though was that the tent itself is almost completely mesh; love the idea of keeping the tarp off at night and getting an unobstructed view of the stars. I assume it’ll also help with airflow and condensation. Comes with a “footprint” to keep the underside of the tent floor clean.

Mountain Hardware Mineral King 2 Tent
Bought this tent in replacement of an older tent for my solo canoe trips. Had the opportunity to use it on one trip so far. Love the tent. Right size for solo canoeing in my opinion. Sets up easy, lots of room and not too big a package. Rained all night once during this outing and the tent was as dry as it should be. I recommend this tent for solo canoe trips. Some may find it a bit heavy for backpacking trips. I give it a 5 star rating based on it's use so far.

Bomb Proof in Heavy Rain
Love this tent...it is lightweight, very easy to set up and kept us dry in a torrential down pour.
