But handy to have! The instructions are quite simple, I was able to fit the English instructions in the container to keep it all together if I ever need to repair in the backcountry. Handy to have replacement valves especially since you have to take this filter apart when backflushing and it wouldn't be hard to lose a valve
If your MSR filter is not functioning properly, follow the instructions online and get this kit. I backflushed my filter, lubed and replaced the O ring and it feels great. Nice to have the extra spare parts around too.
The flow rate is extremely good, you just have to master backflushing it, and avoid turbid water. It's great for warmer weather trips with cleaner water sources.
Light and handy kit to consider bringing along if you'll mainly rely on the HyperFlow filter.
Dans un contexte où beaucoup de produits sont difficiles à réparer ou même jetables, il faut lever notre chapeau à MSR qui donne la possibilité de remplacer et entretenir les pièces les plus vulnérables de leur filtre Hyperflow. J’enlève cependant une étoile comme je crois que certains des éléments inclus avec ce kit (ex.: la graisse de silicone) auraient dû être inclus avec le filtre.
