I’ve used this model for about 15 years and have nothing but praise. It’s easy to keep the ceramic filter clean and an occasional bit of silicone lubricant on the o-ring and it will function a very long time. Mine burned up in the wildfire in Jasper so needed a new one and wanted the same one again.
Rien à dire, cette pompe fonctionne sans accrocs. La qualité MSR classique qui fonctionne quand on en a de besoin. Très solide, aucun lousses. Fit parfaitement avec ma Nalgène et mon Dromadaire.
I used it in a 20 inches deep stream and it worked well. A little more pumps than expected, but easy to clean.
works well for filtering water on canoe trips!
This is nearly perfect! It’s super fast and easy to use, the only thing I wish was different is that it was a bit smaller and weighed less!
My girlfriend had digestive problems after a week long drinking water purified with Pristine pills, couldn't stand the taste of it anymore. MSR miniworks did the trick last weekend on a trek. It fits Nalgene water bottle, easy to use
I have used one of these filters for many years and just picked up a second one. Clean the filter every 6-8L and it will run soon they and quickly.
A friend of mine has had hers (same type) for well over ten years and it still works great, which is why I decided to go with this particular water purifier and filter. I haven’t been able to use it camping yet, but I did test it out at home. Easy to assemble and disassemble. Pretty much full proof. I look forward to using this in the wilderness in a couple of months!
I have been done many research, compare other brands and models, I think this is good enough for the camping group 2 or 3, not too heavy or big, reasonable price, looks fancy
