This hanging kit is compact and light. Finding a flat surface in the backcountry for boilling water can be challenging. Although i haven't yet used this deivce, it nakes sense as a practical solution to this problem and am excited to give it a try
It's just an accessory, but it works. The burner is excellent. I want to use it in the vestibule during the winter.
The Windburner Hanging Kit is lightweight, compact, and offers a secure way to use the stove by suspending it from a tree branch or trekking pole. Using the included small storage pouch, the kit may be conveniently stowed inside the Windburner stove pot with other stove components, fire starter, etc.
Works great to keep the Windburner suspended, also useful in winter to keep the stove canister off the ground/ice/snow.
Great product. Simplifies camping with the windburner stove
Packable, light, well designed. The Hanging kit comes with a small storage pouch. Easy to install in few seconds. Perfect to reduce risk of spillage, and make it possible to cook when on uneven terrain, or into compact tent. Definitely not the first piece of gear to buy for your camping trip... but still, worth every penny for backcountry camping setups or high altitude (rough terrain) overnights. I recommend that product ! Make sure to have the right compatibility for the hanger / burner.
