Things I like about the Dragonfly: light, well made, truly free-standing, enough room in side (I’m 5’8"), good ventilation with the rainfly on, side entrance, reasonable sized vestibule, some convenient storage inside, sets up tight with adjustments and is easy to set up. You have to pay if you want a quality tent this light, and I think this is worth it.
I replaced a Marmot EOS 1p with this as I found the eos to be too cramped. I'm 6'2" and this tent is very comfortable.
The dragonfly is an extremely light tent with a relatively quick set-up. Material is a bit light, so I'd recommend a ground sheet, but besides that, it felt pretty sturdy.
The quality is fantastic but a bit short for me and I’m 6’2” my head and feet were hitting the ends.
J’ai été surpris par l’espace disponible. J’ai pas la sensation d’étouffer lorsque je suis couché malgré ses dimensions réduites. Poteaux pas trop long. Parfaite pour bikepacking.
Purchased this tent because my two person tent died and I wanted something lighter, but sturdy and water proof. After taking to into Algonquin and sleeping in it during a thunderstorm. It passed the test. Enough space to spend the night in. My stuff in the vestibule stayed dry and so did I. My only thing I wish is the fly by the head doesn't fully cover the body. While water didn't get in; it was starting to soak into the material. If the storm had of been worse (like some parts of the park got) I wonder if it would have seeped. But over all. I did love the tent!
Easy to set up. The tent is well thought out ample room to sit up in might be a bit tight for a very wide shouldered individual but lots of room for me. At 5’9 170 there is ample room Even if I was over 6’ tent definitely needs a footprint as I fear it could rip easily without. The vestibule is very roomy for stashing things. I like the fact that you can put your headlamp in the muted compartment above your head to have a diffused light. The tent is good for star gazing if you flip back the fly and so easy to do with the clip system. Have not tested it in rain yet but the high bucket type floor seems like it would stop slashing water not sure why They didn’t extend the non entry side fly a bit longer so we shall see. Over all happy had it out on a 3 night solo backpacking trip since I bought it last week The tent packs down well.
Perfect tent for solo backpacking. I love the fact that it is truly freestanding. Especially on harder ground or tent pads. Setup is a breeze and vestibule are great for gear that won't fit inside.
Quand même spacieuse pour une tente une personne, simple à monter, légère et fait de matériaux de qualité!
