This jacket is warm and stylish. Not as warm as one of those 9000 ft expedition parka's, but a lot warmer than your average Canadian winter jacket. Too warm for standing around in unless it gets down to -10C or below. Arms are thin so glad I sized up.
This coat has an outer layer able to resist abrasion and enough down to keep you toasty
Manteau tres chaud, il est effectivement fait etre porté sans couche exterieur dans la majorité du temps. Le tissu exterieur et le rabat au zipper coupe le vent. Je n’ai pas encore testé la resistance a l’eau. Je mesure 6pieds et pese 78Kg, il est un peu grand en t shirt. Par contre avec une sous couche et un pantalon de neige c’est parfait. Produit de qualité.

Usual Norrona quality. Most items Norrona I wear XL but L in this was fine. Even when layering.
Picked up this jacket as I needed to replace my old Columbia jacket before the winter. Overall I like the fit and size. I'm a large and this fits me exactly as I would expect it should. It's not cold enough to wear it outside, but with the amount of fill, I expect that this will be good for all winter. There are 2 internal pockets, one small for a phone and then a bigger one that would fit a wallet or something even bigger. The 2 hand pockets seem fine as well and the zippers all seem to be designed where they won't get snagged on the jacket. The only thing that I am not sure that I'll like is that the brim on the hood is somewhat rigid (still flexible). It's designed to fit over a helmet, so assume that is why they did that. When the hood is not over your head, I can feel the brim on the back of my head. But I'm sure once the jacket is worn in a bit, the hood will sit a bit further back and I won't notice it. Very nice jacket that feels like quality. Very good loft sensation. Was a bit to big for me so i ended up returning it.
