I took this Ortlieb 3L dry bag on a hiking trip recently and it was so light to throw into my daypack to carry my lunch and snacks. The material is lightweight and flexible, yet seems durable. Alternatively, it would also be perfect to fit my puffy down jacket inside to bring along as a warm layer. I can’t attest to the waterproofness, but I suspect it would be good and the seams appear to be well sealed.

I bought this to hold a few small items when I SUP. It works great and I love the bright colour so I don't forget it on the beach.
