Our 13yo is 5’2” and we set the back frame on the second tallest setting and it was perfect. Room to grow for sure. The included rain poncho came in handy on our trip and was a breeze to use. Great ventilation for the back. Our kid is picky and sensitive to pressure points and things touching - this was not an issue with this backpack. Well done, Osprey.

Awesome backpack.

This backpack looks great and seems to be very functional. A lot of adjustments so it fits your kid for a long time. Unfortunately, it was too big for my daughter. She is 6 1/2 years old and is on a smaller size. I will eventually reorder in a year or 2.
