Awesome backpack
I love this bag. Very comfortable. Lots of pockets. I bought this over the Atmos and the Stratos for the capacity and ability to put in the airplane overhead.

I love this pack! It fits great, the integrated raincover is brilliant, and it's just the right size for either a day hike or a light weekend trip thanks to all the compression straps. The only negative I can think of, and it's really nitpicky, is the side mesh waterbottle panels, which only feature a dropdown entrance, and no angled entrance to make it easy to grab at a bottle while wearing the pack.

I bought this bag for my boyfriend, and I got the equivalent for women (Kyte). This bag is amazing, easy access through 3 openings, and very solid, I recommand.

Holds the weight really well, very comfortable. Mostly a great pack, and very well thought out, with two exceptions: the zipper on the top pouch is placed too low, making it impossible to see inside the pouch when you're reaching for something, and there's the risk of things falling out. Even more annoying are the hipbelt pouches, which are WAY too small and hard to reach, and actually give me a bit of shoulder strain trying to open them. I don't see a reason why Osprey couldn't have made them bigger, as they are on most of their other packs (including much lower volume ones). Quite infuriating, for such an otherwise great backpack.

J'aime bien le produit en général; par contre, les poche de côté pour mettre les bouteilles sont un peu trop haute, ce qui rend difficile l'accès ...

I own the Aether 70 pack by Osprey and like it so much that I jumped at the chance to use it's little brother. So much of the Kestrel 48 is similar to the Aether 70 that I couldn't help but love it. Great fit, great features, great materials. It does not have a removable, extendable lid, but I don't want that feature in a smaller pack; better to use a larger pack than overload a smaller one. And I absolutely love the Red Dragon colour. Wow! This will be my do everything pack: overnight trips, scrambles, ice climbing, bc skiing, alpine climbing. Very pleased. Great service from altitude-sports.com

I bought it a short time ago, so I have not been able to use it much yet, but until now I have found a comfortable backpack, not very voluminous and quite versatile, buy it for this very good detail for the poles, good materials and esthetically Beautiful with great capacity and many pockets, as I like, to be able to make a good deal and access the luggage. It fits very well to the back. I bought the size M / L.Good, backpack!
