I bought this shirt as a Christmas gift for my grandson, I thought it was expensive but i bought it anyway. But when I got it and saw how it looked as a shirt that is supposed to be thermal weight I was disappointed and felt that I wasted my money
I am using the Patagonia Capilene 3 made of Polartec for many years. I have bought the Thermal Weight Zip Neck in thinking that was the equivalent but it was too thin. The week after I have bought the Capilene Midweight which was also too thin, not the equivalent. So I will try to wear both together that could be was I was expected. I am appreciating so much the Capilene products for running and Racewalking in Quebec!
Feels comfy and nice. Will check the functionality through hiking. Expect to be good.
J'ai usé prématurément un Hut semblable en mérinos. J'étais dé:u00e7:u du manque de longévité du produit alors que j'ai d'autres couches de base synthétique qui ne sont usées, mais qui géraient moins bien l'humidité. J'ai trouvé le meilleur compromis, même résultat avec un prix moindre et une plus longue vie. Tellement confortable sur la peau. Je porte ce genre de couche de base toutes les 4 saisons. L'été sous un imper pendant de longues pluies c'est super.

He is tall and has trouble with arm length and body length. This is perfect for him.
Ce n’est pas mon premier mais c’est celui que je préfère, très polyvalent tant pour la marche .escalade, raquette l’hiver , chasse à l’automne il sert à tout, je ne peux m’en passer. Marc
Lots of stretch, loft and soft feel to the skin in this piece. The grid like pattern allows breathability. The quality of fit/finish is on par with other Patagonia garments, which is excellent. Great for shoulder season and cooler temps in general. Nice base-layer. Alti shipping to Ontario, super fast. Best in the business!
These are perfect weight (all the versions), and fit well and last forever. Seems expensive at first but lasts for years and hundreds of days outdoors.
Great base layer for winter outdoor sports such as snowshoeing. I'm a big fan of the power grid material
