I liked this coat, would be good for 0°C to -5°C. Fits true to size. Bought a small, slightly baggy/big. 5’4” 123ish lb
Love this hoodie jacket. It's warm, light, and comfortable. This hoodie can be worn as a jacket or as a layer when skiing. Perfect for the climate where I live. Will certainly buy another.
Super confortable, manteau léger, bonne chaleur et bonne respiration.
This is my wife's jacket for spring winter and fall. Do zip-open during spring or fall, zip-up and extra shirt during the winter, hoody on when needed. Llghtweight jacket but warm good quality down. Good for travel just fold it into it's own pocket. The company Patagonia is commited to sustainability, iron-clad lifetime warranty, great customer service. Buy this jacket for life, if you get it on discount it's a steal.
The jacket is good quality and is well made, true to size. However I expected it to be warmer being 800 down fill, and it is not very windproof. I have a Spyder down jacket in similar style, also 800 fill power and it is warmer. I would recommend the jacket for up to 0 degrees celcius or a few below at maximum.
My girlfriend tried several brands and this one fit the best. It's a perfect jacket alone or for layering and packs very small to bring along on longer xc-ski trips. I have the men's version, it is my second fav piece of outdoor clothing after my Gore-Tex shell.
I use it as a coat to keep me warm going and coming from classic/skate skiing. It does the job. I used it once with a very warm fleece underneath on a very cold hike into a Gatineau Park cabin and back and it was fine. I wondered if I should used my big puffy down jacket but that would have been too much. So, if you want a down sweater and just that, it is good for warmer temps. If you want something like but warm with another layer to go out in -15 - -20 oC temp, it can do that too. The hood it great. It compresses well, too, for transport in the bottom of a backpack.
I bought this to use as a mid layer under a shell for downhill skiing and also to use on its own for cross-country skiing or for warmer days. I’ve had it for a few weeks now and it has been the perfect jacket for all of these applications. It also fits nicely, TTS and looks great on. Love this jacket!
