Fantastic, with some caveats
I really love this backpack. I've mainly used it for day hikes <20km and as a carry-on. The main compartment is roomy and while typically I'd steer clear of a pack with a black interior, the clamshell opening on the back makes organizing and finding stuff much easier. Straps are very comfortable but a little bulky. The pack really shines in its customizability. Almost every seam has anchor points running up it and plenty of straps/clips/bungees are included to make the bag do what you need it to do. Lash a pouch to the front, run a couple straps across the back as a luggage "pass-through", remove the waist belt, etc. All great. The mesh pockets on the straps are perfect for stashing sunglasses, the two side pockets on both sides of the bag are perfect for a tripod and a zoom lens. The biggest issue with the bag is just that it's quite heavy. I don't think I'd want to take it on a serious backpacking trip. Some of the unique adjustment points can cause some issues as well. The way the straps are adjusted/affixed to the top of the pack is finicky and I've had them detach a few times while packing (definitely not while using the bag however – they are secure in that situation) and the magnetic opening for the roll-top can be very slightly annoying. I would also say the straps feel a touch short. I'm a big guy, I have plenty of room on the waist belt, but fully extended the arm straps feel a big snug when the bag is full. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and the bag feels worth the price tag.
