If you are on the upper end of the S/M size recommendation, size up. Or better yet, try it on first. I have a 31 inch waist and some larger thighs and tried on the S/M and it fit, but the straps were maxed out.. I sized up to M/L. Fits perfectly. I prefer the Tour to the lighter Altitude. Heavier, but just feels more robust. Packs down near the same size as the Altitude too.
I'm male, 160lbs, ~30" waist. I found the small/medium to be too small, it was quite snug on the crotch, legs, and waist.
Très léger et peu encombrant. Contrairement à mon autre Petzl j’adore pouvoir l’enfiler sans enlever mes bottes grace aux clips sur les cuisses… Génial. Fortement recommandé …
Not the lightest, but would trust it to do its job!
The fit is great and I love that it can be put on with ski boots. As with any ski touring harness, it isn’t as robust as a climbing harness, but it feels sturdier than others I’ve tried on.
I love this little harness for basic activities that don't require something more robust. It is super light weight and fully adjustable.
The harness fits true to size, and it packs up very small inside its carry pouch. This model is the same packed size, and only slightly heavier than the petzl -altitude-, but I think it makes up for weight with durability. I've handled both side by side, and the the -tour- seems more substantial, and I get the feeling it will handle many years of use.
