Despite a number of similar reviews stating that the silicon bands on the strap were melted I ordered these. The goggles themselves are amazing but there’s a defect with the silicon that holds them in place on the helmet and it literally disintegrated in my fingers and got glue like substance all over. I had altitude check the other and managed to order a pair that were not defective.
We got this ski goggles today, the goggles strap is melted, it seems that the quality isn't good and my daughter really upset for this new year gift :-( We will have to return it.
Excellent google. Visibility is perfect
Echoing comments made by another reviewer; the two silicone strips running in parallel along the length of the strap is defective. POC confirmed the issue when I spoke with customer service. Shame, as it's otherwise a beautiful goggle.
I returned them because the adhesive on the strap was not any dry?. It was all gummy and stuck to my clothing and helmet. Took me a while to get it off. Very bizarre.
I have purchased and returned 2 pairs of these goggles, both sets arrived with a band defect (the rubber is gooey and not set on the band). Altitude is fairly difficult to deal with for returns and this situation especially because of the 2 defect goggles, the second support for the return provided me no help. For the price the risk is not worth it on these goggles, which is really disappointing as Poc usually has very high quality product.
These are simply the best ski goggles I’ve ever purchased. Perfect in most conditions.
Beautiful googles, will match nicely with my POC helmet. They are quite big (which I like), but take that into consideration when buying. Can’t wait to hit the slopes!
Very confortable, fit is perfect with helmet and the lens is amazing for any weather.
I recently replaced my helmet with a POC helmet, and I found my OAKLY flight deck goggles didn't fit as well with the new helmet (along the sides). I bought these goggles to replace the Oakleys hoping they might be more fitted to the helmet, however, to my surprise, the fit is identical to the Oakley flight decks. The optics are basically the same as well.
