I like carrying gas canisters in different colours so I can tell them apart at a glance. This one is definitely the best-looking of the bunch. As for performance, I can’t feel any difference compared to other canisters, but that’s probably a good thing. It just works.

The 4oz MSR gas canister fits perfectly inside my MSR Trail Mini Duo cookset, which makes packing everything together super convenient and compact. It’s been completely reliable on every trip I’ve taken It’s easy to attach, consistent flame, and no issues at all. Honestly, what more can you ask for in a fuel canister?

These little units fit perfectly inside the 350ml-750ml titanium/alloy style cups. Throw in a little BRS mini stove and you've got a cook system that weighs mere grams. They cost more to purchase initially, but if you buy one of those little refill adapters, you can purchase the larger canisters and just refill as needed. You can get roughly 12-24 - 500ml boils out of one can, depending on how efficient your stove/situation is. So, you're getting quite a few days of cooking in a tiny little package!

Most gas canisters come from the same producers in Korea, the only differentiators being branding and what mixture of isobutane/propane is used in the can. This is Primus’s middle of the road mix, not quite the full on “winter mix” but works quite well in mild cold.

N’achetez pas les bouteilles disponibles dans les grandes surfaces. Le mélange de gaz n’est pas le même et brûle trop rapidement. Les gaz du primus est efficace.
