This long urban parka is insulated with a 200g fill weight of Canadian milkweed fibres, which is a Quebec-grown plant that promotes the survival of at-risk Monarch Butterflies by giving them seasonal nesting grounds. Monark™ then cultivates milkweed into a plant-based fibre, which is lightweight and makes for one of the most thermally efficient forms of winter parka insulation. This parka is semi-fitted for enhanced mobility, and its heavier weight of milkweed padding provides ample full-body warmth. This rare and fashionable parka is made entirely in Canada by Quartz Co. and is a collaboration exclusive to Altitude Sports that challenges the status quo of winter apparel design.
