I love this fleece jacket from Rab! It checks nearly all the boxes for me; It is light and packable, warm without being too bulky, and has zippered pockets to keep my essentials. I also prefer jackets to hoodies. This also doesn't look like your typical fleece. . . it's a bit more "technical", but I can wear it to a casual restaurant or hiking in mild to cool weather. I like this so much, that I have 3 of these in different colours! Altitude has great sales and shipped it very quickly. Highly recommended.

This is a very comfortable full zip top. Rab calls it a jacket but it feels more like a sweater. It is a lightweight mid-layer that i wear over a T-shirt or a thin long sleeve base layer. I really like that it has a full zip so ventilation is excellent. It seems a little long in the body but not really an issue. I’m 5’10” 174 lbs and a large fits nicely. Very happy with it.
