My favorite new jacket!
This is the perfect insulated jacket which will replace my long time Atom LT as it slightly warmer. Perfect for activewear or to just wear around town. Fits true to size.

Love this jacket. Super light and suprising warm and wind blocking
Bought this to replace my old North Face Ventrix. Not as breathable and lighter in weight, but the outer material is is more windproof. Perfect for situations where some isolation is needed without too much bulk, as a mid or outer layer.
Je l’adore, je le porte partout. En ski en sous mentau, au bureau, à la maison.
I was looking to replace my Arc’teryx Atom LT and the Xenair Aloine light fights the bill perfectly. Mild water resistance so it works as a an out layer in milder weather, wind resistance is pretty good. Still breathable enough as a mid layer. Really happy with it. As with all Arab sizing, it’s euro sized, so if you’re a medium I recommend sizing up to a large.
I bought this piece as a lighter alternative after picking up a regular Xenair Alpine (and loved it). The Light is, essentially, almost the same jacket as the Xenair Alpine but with slightly under half the Primaloft Gold Active insulation (60gsm vs. 133gsm), one less chest pocket (1 vs. 2), no stiffened peak shield in the hood and the cuff design is not adjustable. The face fabric is the same 20D Pertex, the body mapping of the insulation is similar and the fit is similar. All in all, the Xenair Alpine Light is pretty good and, on the whole, is definitively a lighter version of the Xenair Alpine with similar wind resistance. The only drawbacks are the lack of any DWR coating of the outer fabric and pricing difference from the Xenair Alpine is minor which puts the Xenair Alpine Light in a price category of many similar performative competing pieces.
I wanted to love this jacket, great materials and fit very well. The problem I had is with the good. It's fitted, so when you put the hood on, it fits close around your head to protect from wind etc. , but the cinch is fixed and non adjustable, so when you want to wear the jacket with the hood down and the zip zipped up all the way, the hood feels so right around my neck because of the non adjustable fitted cut of the hood, and the hood itself sits awkwardly behind my neck all bunched up. Felt like the jacket is unwearable when fully zipped up and hood down. Simple fix would have been to have a basic adjustable cinch for the hood (like the Arcteryx Atom, granted it's a more expensive jacket) so you could loosen it a bit when you wanted to wear the hood down, and tighten it back up when wearing the hood up. If that's not an issue for you, then I would recommend this. I'm 5'11 175lb athletic build and medium fit me nicely
Meilleur manteau jamais acheté. Plus chaud qu’il en a l’air tellement il est léger. Idéal pour jouer au hockey dehors, jogging ou en tout temps. Un vrai must.
