  Great quality top,can be worn anytime. The unisex fit has very long sleeves and longer through the body, but the body fits true to size.

  Meridien Moderne Carded Cotton Top

  Nice weight for warmth and quality workmanship. I ordered an XL as I already had an XL from last year, but found that the two were not identically sized. This one was longer sleeved (I will roll the sleeves up) and a bit broader on the shoulders. I buy these oversized (usually wear a large in other brands) as the cut is small and Saint James carded cotton tops have a tendency to shrink, even when washed in cold water and air dryed.

  One of the original companies to make the breton and the quality is on point. The carded cotton is very warm. If you have hips, I'd suggest sizing one size up as this fabric doesn't stretch.

  Fit more for a man

  Fit seemed more appropriate for a man. the shoulders were very wide, and the sleeves very long. The material is lovely, but it did not fit me well at all.

  Classic and versatile

  Excellent fot and weight. . worth the premium to have the stripes. woven into the fabric, looks great when cuffed, and stripes line up at all seams. I've been eyeing one for years and finally decided to buy a Saint James marinere and so happy I made this choice.

  Weirdest Garment Cut Ever!

  I love to wear timeless clothes that never seem to come out of fashion. And I love quality clothes made out of natural fibers that lasts for years. Saint-James garments fall into this category. I had the same sweater before. They are still made out of that thick cotton I appreciate. So far so good, but why the hell did they change their pattern? I am a man, 5'10", average weight. Usually, medium size fits me like a glove. But that sweater is definitely very small. I ordered a large, as recommended. Shoulders are ok, but I had to spend an extra 40$ to have the length of the sweater and the sleeves shortened 6 cm! Hence the 3 stars. I have not washed it yet. I hope it does not shrink too much.
