  A lot of merino balaclavas are fairly pricey but this one was pretty reasonably priced. The merino was soft and not scratchy on the skin, would recommend.

  Warm and light. It is quite fitted, but not unbearably tight and I am even able to pull back hat portion so I can use as gaitor

  Thin and Warm

  This balaclava fits really nicely and the merino wool is quite warm despite being thin. The material thickness is perfect for maintaining a good fit with a helmet. The shape is also perfect without impacting the goggle seal and can easily be lowered below the mouth / nose. Would recommend.
