Great Quality Bag from North Face

So far it is a great quality Sleeping bag. Super Light weight and compresses down very small in a compression sack. Got the long version and at 6'1" there is plenty of room in this sleeping bag. Use it frequently on winter camping trips and definitely keeps you warm at night . Got it on sale which was even better. The only draw back is having a have zipper, sometimes hard to get in and out of the bag, but an easy trade for being warm all night.

    Elite Comfort

This bag feels amazing. The inner lining is like butter. The bag has a nice fit for something .mountain specific. The only down side is the tiny snaggy zipper.

North Face Inferno -29 C Sleeping Bag

Impressive loft, compressibility and weight. The compression stuff sack provided has very coarsely woven webbing that provide a lot of friction through the plastic hardware and makes it difficult to compress the sleeping bag. The sleeping bag compresses much more easily and smaller in an Outdoor Research compression stuff sack that I already had on hand. The stretch cords and cord locks on the back of the sleeping bag are a nice touch and help keep you on your sleeping pad. I'm a side sleeper and routinely slide off my Thermarest inflatable pads. The zipper is smaller than optimal and snags the fabric easily. You need to be careful when using it. It would be easier to get in and out of the sleeping bag if the zipper was 10 or 15 cm longer. Overall, I'm very pleased with this product and can't wait to try it on some really cold nights in the back country.

    Close but not a hit

I looked up the reviews and specs and this bag seemed a great deal. Once I got my hands on it I realized why there were some flags raised. The quality of the fabrics and down is there but the zipper is catchy and scary. Also the cinch system for the hood is not quite there yet. It does slackens easily and the neck baffle is not sealing around the neck. So I had to return the bag because such an investment in a very specific piece of gear must check all the boxes.

    Léger et efficace!

Sac de couchage chaud, format adéquat et très compact, faire attention à la fermeture éclair puisque pas sécurisée.

    Best winter sleeping bag

Warm, lightweight, compressible (more than other brands that are goretex which make it hard to get the air out)

    Amazing bag!

I bought this bag for when we camp on glaciers during multi-day ski treks and I love it! Very packable, very light for it's temp rating and of course, it's warm. I'm not a cold sleeper and feel like the -29 will actually be accurate for me. Very happy with my purchase.
