  TNF Phantom

Good back, seems durable enough (no Dyneema, but will do the job for some hiking / climbing). Wish the back pad was a bit more elaborate (just a regular old foam pad), but it is still very comfortable for long hikes. Lots of side straps for ropes, ice axes etc make it seem like the best winter choice in the mountains though. I’m 6’1, took a M/L and sizing is good.

  Phantom Backpack

Great no frills pack but would be better with helmet holder. White is probably not the best color to find this pack in a whiteout.
