First time trying this shoe after them being recommended to me by a friend who trekked the TMB using them. First impression was that the toe box was really roomy and this took time for me to get used to as I came from pretty narrow shoes before. After a couple runs, I cannot complain how happy my toes are with all that room. The midsole is very snug so no worries as to your foot sliding around.
Wow. So for a simple, broken sole on an otherwise perfectly solid pair of shoes, you're just dropping a customer cold? No repair solutions, no spare parts, just a rigid "out of warranty" excuse? I expected better sustainability and customer service from Topo. If you can't replace them, can you at least point me to where I can source a replacement sole, or offer a discount on a future pair? Otherwise, I’ll have to take my business back to Altra—at least they work with their customers to find remedies.
Topos are the best for a wide toe box but still a very supportive mid foot and heel cup. My foot does not slide around in it like other wide toe box shoes.
Love the spacious toe box! It fits great, but the heel is a little uncomfortable for me.
Been an ultra fan for a while but tried some topos in hopes of better life span. This pair of Topos fits the same as Altras! Pleased so far, hoping they hold up better then my altras

This is my 4th or 5th consecutive pair of Ghost 2 Max and I have relied heavily on this for pavement and packhed trail runs 6 days/week. For some reason this pair seems to fit slightly smaller - unsure if that is due to a significant increase in longer runs? I do notice my toes bumping up to the end of the toebox so consider going half a size bigger if choosing this shoe for marathon training.
Ordered size 10 and seemed true to size. However, I had to return as it seemed like the heel area of one of the shoes seemed loose / was rubbing
fits true to size, even with wide toebox. Nice materials.
with 5 mm drop, it is working for me. i have wide foot measured about 105mm and high volume (ramp vs length), I use them for hiking rather than running. In general, they are great cushion at 33mm+28mm, but i can see heel lock down may become an issue for long hike.
