It's lined with a plush padding of Hutterite White Goose down insulation in a quilt-through design, allowing for easy layering and reducing its overall pack size. It also has Tensile-Tech hardface fleece placed along its underarms and side panels, for an improved fit and enhanced flexibility during activities. Canada Goose has recommended this stylishly practical down insulator for standalone use in temperatures as low as -5°C.

Its heavy-duty YKK® reverse coil front zipper is two-way locking and is backed by an insulated windguard for warmth. The jacket's collar is insulated then with brushed tricot for warmth. It also features two YYK® zippered hand pockets and has been designed to compress into its left pocket, for convenient storage that doubles as a travel pillow.
