Filson designed the Ranger Backpack with the inspiration of a vintage forestry pack, making this knapsack suitable for both outdoor adventures and day-to-day life in the city. It’s made from weather-resistant Rugged Twill fabric, has Antique Tin Cloth seams and features a soft 6-oz. cotton lining. The top storm flap secures with genuine Bridle Leather straps, and when undone, gives way to an expansive drawcord tightening top skirt. Due to the expanding top skirt, the main compartment can be stuffed with gear, and inside it has dividers that make it compatible with a 17” laptop. The pack interior also features an inner stow pocket and a snap-removable wool zip pouch. Filson furnished the Ranger with padded shoulder straps that have double D-ring adjusters and finished the strap-fronts with webbed daisy chains for carabiner loops.
