  Good Quality Men's Heritage Jacket

  Excellent craftsmanship and quality. I was hesitant to pull the trigger because of the price point, but I'm glad I did. The dark olive color is beautiful, and the leather accents and interior lining add a premium touch. Based on recommendations, I initially sized down to a Small; however, I found the jacket too tight through the chest, arms, and shoulders. I returned it for a Medium, which is my usual size in jackets, and the fit is much better. Fjällräven has created a true workhorse of a jacket that should provide many years of service with proper care and maintenance.   This jacket can last for a long time.

  Size Small in normal street wear but I ordered X-Small and it fit well. Takes time to break it in due the G-1000 material but it is fairly wind proof. Keeping me wrong in -16c with wind chill. I have a Merino 320 base layer with a fleece mid layer together with this Down Jacket. Highly recommending it. I like the two tone and the two deep pockets in the front. Another pocket inside the jacket too. Leather trimming is a nice touch.

  Odd Fit

  Great looking jacket and quality feel like all Fjallraven products, but sadly it had an odd fit. The sleeves felt overly large, but to size down the body of the jacket would be too snug. Unfortunately it didn't work for me so had to return.

  I’ve praised Fjalraven’s quality and design for years and this time I bought what I think is the best looking jacket in their catalog. I read a few reviews saying that this was not a winter jacket and how it is, but that’s not my experience. I live in Quebec and right now we’re dealing with close to -40 temperature, so I know about cold. When I first started using the jacket in -5 and below, I clearly felt there was a lack of seal around the neck area, the opening is too wide to retain heat, but combined with a neck warmer or a scarf it completely changed everything and it became the most adaptable and usable jacket, in mild or cold weather. I love it!

  Comfy and warm enough

  I felt the jacket was a good fit and certainly warm and dry enough in the snow and rain. The hood can feel a bit stiff but I probably need to get used to it. I hope it lasts me a long time. I had to give credit to the company for the efforts it went through to make an ethical, environmentally sustainable jacket.
