We have used the larger fair share for a long time and will continue to do so for larger trips. However for smaller trips or hiking, we will take this smaller mug. It has the same measuring marks that the fair share does, but it’s half the size.
Love this mug! When you fill it with a hot drink, your hands still feel the warmth on the outside which I love on a cool evening. It holds about 2 cups of liquid, so I use it for soup sometimes too.
I have, over the past year, purchased at least half a dozen different camping mugs, trying to find one that feels nice in my hand, holds a good size cup of coffee, and is as light as possible. THIS IS IT! This is the one! It's super light, so great for backcountry trips. I love the little foldable handle - makes it feel like I'm holding an actual mug instead of camping gear that'll do the job but just barely. I've only taken it backpacking once so can't speak to durability over time, but I'm optimistic.
One of the best mugs for camping. Light yet large enough for plenty of drinking, has measuring lines inside if ever needed to measure liquid volume, and the sleeve helps with insulating hot drinks.

Lightweight. Might be bulky for some who prefer something collapsible. Ended up buying six of these because the other members of my trip were jealous

Spoiler: It does! I love this mug. I've been camping and backpacking in the Canadian Rockies for over 10 years and I've tried lots of different products over the years. This mug is lightweight, keeps your drink insulated, has a well built lid and is easy to either pack in your bag or clip it on the outside of your pack.
