Winter Zone Base Layer
The Winter Zone Long Sleeve Crewe is a warm and highly technical baselayer, designed with optimized fabric zones for active performance during cold conditions. Icebreaker constructed its core with BodyfitZONE™ merino wool fabric that has a touch of LYCRA® for stretch. The underarm panels use lightweight eyelet merino mesh, which helps control body temperature during high-output pursuits. High-wear areas around the elbows and forearms are made with merino and polyester waffle jersey for increased abrasion resistance. This base layer also features flatlock seams that prevent chafing while raglan sleeve construction further enhances its maneuverability.
