  I bought these for a trip to Everest Base Camp. I chose them instead of regular aqua tabs as these ones will also kills the parasite Cryptosporidium. Drinking the water I can’t really taste a difference, whereas aqua tabs I have. These are more expensive but when I want to *hopefully* guarantee no stomach issues, in high risk areas, I’d go for these again.

  This is probably the best chemical water treatment you can get. It is a bit more expensive but it kills viruses, bacteria and cryptosporidium. I have them for a back up where I am concerned my filter isn't going to be sufficient.

  4 heures de temps de repos!

  J’ai acheté les caplets pour ma trousse de premier soin, mais j’ai constaté que le temps de repos est de 4 heures (contre 30 minutes pour Aquatabs). Ce qui ne fonctionne pas avec l’utilisation en cas d’urgence. Par contre, ils seraient parfaits pour la longue randonnée pour purifier l’eau pendant la nuit.

  it's a good idea to have these tablets in case your water filter breaks on the trip. They weigh almost pretty much nothing and take no space in the pack
