The 80-denier GORE-TEX Pro fabric is highly waterproof, breathable, durable, and entirely windproof. The helmet-compatible StormHood features a wired brim to enhance protection against high winds. Aquaseal waterproof zippers from YKK on the front opening and pockets are the strongest in the outdoors industry. Lengthened X-open underarm vents unzip from either direction, allowing for more airflow after a steep climb. This shell jacket’s cut and Y-sleeves permit the optimal freedom of movement. Waterproof chest pockets along with harness compatible lower pockets offer storage for backcountry essentials like your map and avalanche beacon.
