Osprey’s Porter 46 has the padded sidewalls, organization pockets and suspension for backpack-style carrying that can be stowed-away when checking in at the airport. This hybrid duffle-backpack is made of durable materials and features a stow-away padded hipbelt/shoulder harness, which has an adjustable sternum strap and whistle buckle for light trekking adventures. This suspension is backed up by the bags HDPE framesheet and a comfortable nylon/foam backpanel. The padded sidewalls ensure structure while the Porter’s 46-litre hauling capacity make it perfect for long-weekend adventures. The padded top and side handles make lifting it off the luggage claim easy, while StraightJacket™ compression straps allow its load to be streamlined for stuffing it into a trunk.
The Porter 46 has a large panel lockable U-Zipper that opens to access the main compartment, and another sizeable front panel organization pocket that is padded and also lockable. Inside the main compartment, there is a front panel flap pocket for socks and underwear along with two zippered side pockets for essential items. The Porter’s exterior has D-ring attachments to lash other gear on, and comes with reinforced cord loops to attach the Osprey Daylight Daypack.
