  Really nice looking jacket, light, and appears well built. Fit is a bit blocky, and I would prefer a slightly tighter cut.

  Good rain jacket

  Bought as a gift for my boyfriend. Really good quality and the colour (emerald) is beautiful. Runs a bit small across the chest/shoulders as I had to exchange it for and XL. Size up if you’re between sizes.

  Coupe trop courte

  J'ai dû retourner cet article car la coupe est trop courte pour moi. J'avais commandé le moyen et je mesure 6 pi. Ce jacket semble d'excellente qualité. Très léger, par contre il faut peut-être s'attendre à une usure accélérée en raison du tissus utilisé. Aussi, la membrane imper-respirante semble fragile (2.5 plis).,

  Outdoors Research Hellium 2 Mens Jacket

  Pros: lightweight, easily packable, pertex makes a difference Cons: lack of technical features, ventilation the most, sweat condensation is almost immediate. Chest zippered-pocket is a bit too high, difficult to reach when backpack straps are wider. Overall: Great looking garment, functional, and will easily find a place in my equipment pack. Looking forward to test and use further OR equipment in mu urban setting and in my mountaineering trips.

  Hard to beat, unless you buy cottage industry

  I was looking for a lightweight, minimalist backpacking rain jacket that could be used with a mid layer in shoulder season, or alone with a base layer in the summer. I was also hoping to use it for cycle commuting/bikepacking. I already have a S2S sil poncho for summer (good if it's not too windy), and a Columbia OutDry jacket for winter wet weather (no DWR hassle, but heavy). I had never purchased an OR jacket before. I like the rangle of colours offered. I have a small build, and shorter than average arms, so I am always concerned with fit. Men's outdoor clothing seems to be designed for giants. The fit was surprisingly trim. I am very impressed with the hood brim and shock cord tensioning. I love how soft the fabric feels. I find the sleeves flap in the wind too much for my taste when cycling. The sleeves are designed for air flow/venting, so this is completely understandable. The only thing I would change is adding minimalist pit zips. If you're using it as a wind jacket, expect to get wet inside. I am interested to see how long the DWR lasts. I already see a very tiny amount of wet-out around the zipper after just two or three uses. But that's WPB jackets in general. Cheers

  Compact et léger

  J'ai acheté cet imper en cadeau pour un amateur de golf. Je trouvais que le format et la qualité convenaient bien pour le ranger dans un sac de golf. Toutefois, nous avons dû commander une taille plus grande puisqu'il était trop petit au niveau de la taille. En fait, on trouve souvent que les vêtements OR sont ajustés au niveau de la taille.

  Super lightweight and pack-able jacket

  I used this jacket this past summer as a emergency shell in my pack, it worked out great! It's super lightweight, kept the rain out, and was fairly breathable. It wasn't quite as breathable as my gore-tex jackets but no complaints!
