A GORE-TEX 2L shell is as tough an element-shedder as they come. The maze-quilted brushed taffeta lining makes for a soft, comfortable inner surface. Wire brim in the hood gives it added structure. A Stormflap protects the two-way AquaGuard Vislon front zip. Two alpine pockets feature exposed AquaGuard coil zips. Flap-closed hand pockets, a concealed cuff pocket, and an inner secure-zip chest pocket take care of storage and stash needs. Pit zips allow you to vent as you need it. The snap cuffs, down-insulated inner cuffs, stretch gussets and hem cinch cord work to keep things warm and adverse-element free.
