The World-Record adidas Adios Pro Evo 3: A Limited Drop
adidas' second release after the 2026 marathon season.

The adidas Adizero Adios Pro Evo 3 is the 97-gram racer Sabastian Sawe wore to run 1:59:30 at the 2026 London Marathon in April, the first official sub-2-hour marathon. It’s the lightest supershoe adidas has made, built on a carbon-fibre-infused Energyrim and Lightstrike Pro Evo foam. Altitude Sports is one of the very few retailers to sell the shoe this fall, in limited quantities.
When the Evo 3 first released in April, it sold out in minutes.

What is the adidas Adizero Adios Pro Evo 3 like to run in?
The Evo 3 cuts weight without cutting cushioning. Its midsole is a full stack of Lightstrike Pro Evo foam, 39 mm at the heel and 33 mm at the forefoot with a 6 mm drop, and adidas rates that foam best in class for energy return. Running through it is the all-new Energyrim, a carbon-fibre-infused stiffening element with tuned stiffness, designed to make room for more foam underfoot. Continental rubber on the forefoot keeps traction reliable while adding as little weight as possible.
The proof came in London. Sawe ran 1:59:30, Yomif Kejelcha finished 11 seconds behind him in 1:59:41, and Tigst Assefa set a women-only world record of 2:15:41, all in the Evo 3. A racer this light gives up some comfort and durability, so save this pair for race day.
Sawe needed under two hours to break the record. The stock probably won’t need that long. Watch for the drop!
