Hello and thank you for noticing what was simply an error that was ‘lost in translation’, as it were. The word ‘duvet’ applies to this type of garment in French; when translated, it was assumed to be equally valid as the English definition, which of course it isn’t. The error was due to editorial oversight in the rush of the many projects we are working on, nothing more.

As for the question of plagiarism, rest assured all our content is original, and plagiarism is strictly forbidden at Altitude Sports.

Thank you.

Is this an editing or perhaps plagiarism issue?

Hello Carol, unfortunately, we are only a retailer that sells Canada Goose and have no input or information regarding the price of coat cleaning at authorized establishments.

I will follow these directions in future. This time I will just wash the cuffs and collate gently by hand and air dry. Thank you very much. Diane Tilden.

Hi Diane, this is taken directly from Patagonia’s site:

Wash your down garment in cold water in a front-loading machine with a gentle detergent. You can find specific detergents made specifically for washing down items. Machine dry on no to low heat (may take a few cycles) with two to three clean tennis balls added to the dryer to restore fluff.

You can choose not to use the dryer although if the garment takes too long to dry, it may acquire a mildew smell.

I need to know if I can wash the cuff and collar of my padigonia down filled coat. I will wash them by hand No Dryer. Please advise . Diane
