James, that’S a tough question to answer. Marc who did the review is about 5’11” and wore the Large. At 6’1” you may not have this problem if you go with the XL.

Hey Jake, you’re right that sentence is a little confusing. I think what Marc was getting at is that it is versatile. It is one of Arc’teryx’s warmest down jackets, and can handle very cold temperatures. To answer your question about the -35, like most jackets, you will need a good mid-layer like a sweater underneath if you are standing around at those temperatures.
