Hello Conn, depending on the model you have purchased, you could certainly use them for the summertime although because they are designed for winter, you may find that they are too warm for the summer temperatures. The hiking shoe models iwl be great for hiking and offer exceptional grip especially if you are traveling over wet slippery terrain, but again, they may just feel too warm.
