Free shipping within Canada on all orders over $49

At Altitude-sports.com, standard shipping by FedEx and Canada Post is free within Canada on all orders over $49, before taxes and membership price.

Surcharges may be applied in cases where box dimension, weight, or remoteness of delivery address are exceptional. It is simple to know if you apply for standard delivery while you are shopping on our site.

Order Processing

Once you have finished placing your order on Altitude-sports.com, the processing will take between 1 and 2 business days. Note that our team processes orders between Monday and Friday, 9am to 5pm EST. For example, if you place an order Friday night it will begin to be processed Monday morning. The processing time is already incorporated into our delivery time noted, when you select your method of shipping. If ever our processing time takes more than 2 days, and jeopardizes the guaranteed date of delivery, we will select a faster shipping method at our own cost.

Estimated Delivery Date

You will receive the estimated date of delivery, when you choose your shipping method and courier in the first step of your shopping cart. Delivery date information is provided by the courier company. The processing time is already incorporated into the delivery time, but note Saturday and Sunday are not. Within Canada, we guarantee that your delivery will be made by the date indicated. Please note that your delivery may arrive before the estimated delivery date.

If your order is shipped within Canada, and it arrives after the estimated delivery date indicated on Altitude-sports.com (when you placed your order), we will gladly reimburse you the shipping fees you may have paid. Delays to orders due to circumstances out of our control, such as snowstorms, hurricanes, credit card verification procedures or postal strikes, do not count.

For deliveries to the United States, and other countries around the world, the estimated delivery date cannot be guaranteed by us here at Altitude-sports.com. Due to the fact courier companies sub-contract shipments to local companies, and the unknown variable of customs processing times, delivery times can be unpredictable and in rare instances delayed. For more information concerning this subject, please read the following section.

In-Store Pickup: a practical and free option

If you happen to live near Mont-Tremblant, you may also pick up your order from that store, without paying any shipping fees. Simply choose this option when you are at the stage of choosing your shipping method in your shopping cart. Expect a delay of 7 to 8 business days for this shipping option. This delay exists because transfers from our warehouse to the stores occur only once a week. You will be contacted by telephone once the store has received your order. For security reasons, we oblige you to bring a printout of your receipt, the credit card used to pay for the order, and 2 pieces of identification when you pick up your order. You will also be asked to sign a document attesting to the pickup.

You can easily obtain the amount of shipping fees you may be paying for your order once you select the method of shipping and courier company, when in your shopping cart.

Receiving and picking up orders

For all receptions of orders, we require a signature confirming that you have indeed received your order, and not a stranger. This protects both you and Altitude-sports.com from cases of theft or conflict in the case of a delivery error.

Although estimated delivery dates are almost always respected, we suggest you leave a window of 3 business days between the date of delivery and the date you absolutely require your order. This way if the courier company arrives when you are out, you will have ample time to pick it up from the post office. Furthermore, if a natural disaster, postal strike or any other event we cannot control should occur, the 3 business day window will not leave you high and dry. Please use forethought to prevent any unnecessary stress, because we do not want you leaving on your trip to the Alps without that new backpack.

Cancelling an order

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact our customer service as quickly as possible at 1-800-729-0322 or by chat so they can verify the status of your order. If the status is still in process, we will be able to cancel it.

If you need to contact us outside of our business hours, please send an email to [email protected] and write in the subject of the email « CANCELATION OF ORDER #0012345 ».

Please note that we ship the majority of our orders in 24 hours. If the order that you wish to cancel has already been shipped, we unfortunately cannot cancel it.

Where to have your order delivered

The courier companies we use to ship your orders deliver throughout the day, but usually between 9am and 6pm. We suggest having your order delivered to your usual daytime location. That way you increase your chances of being able to have your order delivered to you and being present to sign for it, and saving you the hassle of having to pick it up at the nearest post office.

Ensure that you provide us with the correct and complete address to prevent incurring any return shipping fees if the courier cannot deliver the package to the address indicated.

Refusing delivery of a package, not claiming a package or wrong address

If you refuse your order at your door during delivery, it will be returned to our warehouse in Montreal. The fees associated with the return delivery are charged to us. The same outcome will occur to packages that are either undeliverable because no one is home during the multiple delivery attempts or the package is not picked up from the local post office after X amount of days. The rules differ depending on the courier. Here are the links to Canada Post and FedEx for more details regarding this subject. Parcels delivered to a faulty address from a client’s mistake or from which the address was incomplete will also be returned to Altitude-sports.com.

Other than the refusal of a parcel because it was damaged during the transportation or from a faulty address without being the responsibility of the client, Altitude-sports.com is not responsible for any shipping fee, broker fees or any other tax fees related to the return of a parcel to our warehouse.

If we refuse the return of your items or if you have given us a faulty shipping address and we need to reship your parcel, a $25 fee will be charged to our Canadian customers to cover the reshipping charges. For our United States clients, the fee is $40. For international orders, the reshipping fee is $75.

If your order returns to us in “Return to sender” and that you do not wish to have this package resent to you & prefer a refund, we will deduct $15 from your refund to cover the return shipping fees from all Canadian order. For orders being returned to us from the United States and other International country, our customer service will get in contact with you for more details.

Tracking your order

You can easily follow your order as it is being processed and shipped by us, if you have passed your order with a registered account. You can verify your order by logging into your account and by following the steps below in FAQ. If you have placed your order with a guest account (without creating a registered account), you can follow your order via email only.

Once you place your order, you will receive a confirmation email with your order number. When your order is packed and ready to be picked up by the courier company, you will receive an email with your invoice*. You will also receive an email with your tracking number and information on how to track your package. Please add [email protected] to your email address book so that these important emails do not get lost in your Spam or Trash folder.

We work predominantly with FedEx and Canada Post to deliver our packages, because we feel they offer the most complete and fast service for both us and you.

Shipping within Canada

The taxes paid on an order being shipped within Canada depend on the shipping address, that is to say the address where the shipment will be delivered (and not the billing address). See the detailed breakdown of taxes to be paid by province here.

Shipping outside of Canada

United States

Please note that due to agreements with suppliers, we cannot ship certain brands to the United States. You can see if a product can be shipped to the United States by looking for an icon next to the product description:

All orders shipped to the United States are done so using Canada Post or FedEx, and are not subjected to Canadian taxes. Because the shipments pass through customs, they are subject to customs duties and US taxes. In most cases, a bill with duties will accompany your order and be payable upon receipt, or will be sent via mail. The receiver is responsible for all taxes and duties applied to the order. Note that we are not able to predict or give estimates for these fees and taxes. We suggest contacting the customs office directly if you are worried or would like more concrete answers.

Restrictions can also apply to shipments with dangerous or oversized goods. We reserve the right to refuse orders in certain (and limited) situations in which this is the case, at all times and without notice.

Elsewhere in the world

Please note Nobis products can be shipped worldwide except in South Korea and France.

If you inadvertently place an order with numerous products, one of which cannot be shipped to your country, we will remove that product from your order and ship the rest.

Shipping fees to the United States

Shipping fees from $22 to $30 will apply to orders under $250 (before taxes and shipping fees) being shipped to the continental United States. The shipping is free for orders over $250 (before taxes and shipping fees). Surcharges will apply to all orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Expect 2 to 7 business days for delivery.

Restrictions for dangerous and oversize goods

Restrictions can also apply to shipments with dangerous or oversized goods. We reserve the right to refuse orders in certain (and limited) situations in which this is the case, at all times and without notice.
