The men's Fissile is the most waterproof down jacket for snow sports in the Arc'teryx Whiteline Collection. It has a shell constructed with durable, supple, and breathable N70-p-X 3-layer GORE-TEX® fabric with tricot technology, which is completely wind and waterproof. 750 Fill Goose Down pads the jacket, giving it superior thermal retention, while panels of synthetic Coreloft® insulation are placed in areas prone to moisture accumulation. The Fissile is a perfect for mid-winter ski trips to destinations like Lake Louise and Mount Tremblant, where temperatures are likely well below freezing.

Down Composite Mapping™ | StormHood™

The Fissile has Down Composite Mapping™ helping improve its overall maneuverability by placing differing lofts of insulation in strategic areas. Down Contour LT™ places down filled nylon taffeta inside the jacket's GORE-TEX® shell, sealing out cold while allowing for maximum compressibility and thermal efficiency. Arc'teryx equipped the Fissile with an insulated StormHood™, which is helmet compatible and adjustable. The underarm vents are mesh backed and have PowderGuard™ zippers, and the jacket front uses a WaterTight™ Vislon™ zipper.
