Streamlined Wet Snow Protection

Arc'teryx created the women's Astryl as a streamlined shell in a trim-fitting silhouette, to offer lightweight protection and performance, in a minimalist design for the mountains. It's made with a highly waterproof and wind-resistant N70p 3L GORE-TEX® fabric that has GORE® C-KNIT™ backer technology, which is quiet, soft on-the-skin, and has excellent breathability. The lightweight Astryl is the ideal jacket for ski resort adventures to destinations where wet snow conditions are common,like Big White in British Columbia or Mount Stowe, Vermont.

DropHood™ | Powder Skirt | Ventilation

Arc'teryx equipped the women's Astryl with a helmet compatible DropHood™ that has an insulated collar for enhanced warmth and protection on cold ski runs. The jacket interior comes with a powder skirt that has a stretch panel and gripper elastic to protect against snowy wipeouts and deep powder turns, while the self-fabric cuffs have Velcro® closures and allow you to seal the cold out of your sleeves. Side zippers offer ventilation on days where you become overheated skiing or too toasty walking around a snow-filled city.
