The Atomic Backland UL 16+ is a 16-liter ski touring pack that can be expanded to 20 liters. Inspired by Davide Magnini’s Backland UL Race Pack, the Backland UL 16+ is made for Skimo racers and backcountry skiers who prefer to travel fast and light. The Backland UL 16+ has integrated storage for standard safety equipment and a dedicated compartment for skins and crampons that can be accessed without removing the pack. The Secure Speed Ski Carry uses a purpose-made hook, allowing you to attach and retrieve your skis without removing the pack so transitions are quick and efficient. The integrated ice axe and pole carry lets you switch and stow gear depending on what the conditions demand. If the day calls for a little more, the Backland UL 16+’s modular customizability allows you to convert the crampon compartment to make more room in the main storage area, taking the pack from 16 liters to 20. The Backland UL 16+ is equipped to carry a hydration flask and features a convenient helmet net.
