A half coat version for this season of Mizusawa Down’s renowned Mountaineer model, with all of the high spec comfort and performance features of the original. The half coat outer fabric is a super stretch, highly water resistant and water permeable SAITOS® MATTE FLEX 2L, made even warmer and drier with heat bonded non-quilt and seam tape processing. For really wet, snowy days, it incorporates our unique Parahood system. A BOA® Fit System dial on each side of the coat can be turned to adjust the air space between the coat and the body to suppress the entry of cold air and to increase heat retention. In addition, it also has a center dual zip ventilation system which can be opened to reveal a mesh panel that allows air inflow to maintain ideal temperature and humidity levels inside the jacket. And now, with Traceable Down that has acquired “DOWNPASS” certification it is possible – through a system of Serial Numbers – to track, and strictly control, all down feathers used in the procurement process.
