The Bern is a down-filled men’s ski jacket by Descente, providing the warmth and modern style necessary for life on ski resort slopes during mid-winter conditions. It’s padded with 700 fill Goose Duck down and features a Heat Navi insulation liner, delivering sufficient thermal capacity with only a base layer underneath. The outer shell is constructed with EnerG Stretch DTL 20K/20Kn, making it extremely waterproof and wind-resistant, while still remaining breathable. Descente designed it with their Motion 3D Fit for the most ergonomically maneuverable flex and fit when out skiing. The Bern perfectly blends the fashion of a contemporary down coat with the construction of a high-performance ski jacket.

Removable Hood | Waterproof Zippers

The Bern is loaded with ski-friendly features and accessories, like a removable hood that’s fully insulated and a powder skirt for protection in deep snow conditions. The jacket’s exterior zippers are all waterproof, and the waist, wrists, and hood can be adjusted for a superior fit. Descente bonded all of the Bern jacket's seams to ensure a weatherproof seal.
