The women's specific Tempest 16 is a panel loading backpack with Osprey’s clean and technical design, ideal for day hiking, biking, and all-around outdoor adventures. It features a backsystem in a women's specific fit, with an ergonomically female shaped hipbelt, harness, yoke and backpanel. It’s new AirScape™ accordion foam backpanel has seamless lumbar-to-hipbelt body wrapping, which increases ventilation and provides comfort by keeping its panel close and dispersing the load weight evenly at the hips. It also comes with an adjustable back length, for the most customizable and comfortable carrying experience. Zip pockets on the hipbelt allow for quick-access to essentials such as phone, snacks or a GPS.

Compartment/Pockets | Features

The Tempest 16’s main compartment has dual zipper access, and the top has a convenient stash pocket for small items. The pack-front has a large PowerMesh™ pocket, ideal for carrying a wet clothing or extra footwear. Osprey equipped this backpack with a quick access external hydration sleeve that has a reservoir hanging loops. They also finished the Tempest with their Stow-on-the-Go™ trekking pole attachment, a LidLock™ bike helmet attachment, and gave it their InsideOut™ lower compression straps.
