Women's Trek - TK II 18°F/-7°C Long Right Hand Zip

A few small design changes can make a big difference when it comes to sleeping comfort. And, it’s a well known truism that women typically sleep colder than men. They also tend to have a slightly different body shape to men. So, Sea to Summit is introducing a line of sleeping bags specifically designed to suit to the female adventurer. After a number of iterations we have modified our designs for the Latitude, Trek and Talus bags to better reflect the needs of female sleepers.

• FEMALE SPECIFIC CUTS: Our women’s specific bags are a little shorter than our regular styles. The women's regular is sized to comfortably fit a user 5' 6" (170cm) or less; the women's long will suit up to 5' 10" (179cm). We’ve also shaped our bags to be a little wider in the hips, and made sure that the shoulders still have enough room to accommodate a female frame.
• DOWN FILL AMOUNT AND PLACEMENT: Each of our women’s specific bags has a slightly greater amount of down fill, which is distributed within a smaller area. We’ve also increased the quantity of down fill in the foot and the torso areas to afford more warmth in these areas, as women tend to experience colder extremities. Our foot box includes a layer of Thermolite keep the feet and lower extremities of female sleepers toasty warm.
• SLEEPING BAG LINING: We visually differentiate between our unisex and our women's specific sleeping bags with the color of the lining, the zippers and the screen printing on the bag. The women's bags have a 20 Denier lining in a mulberry color instead of the grey lining found in most of the other bags in our range.
