The North Face designed the men's Summit L2 FuseForm™ as a full zippered fleece to be lived in for days on-end during intense camping expeditions and week-long alpine treks. TNF built it with durable Polartec® Hardface® fleece so that it could be worn as a standalone or mid layer, while striking the right balance between comfort and protection. The engineered FuseForm™ construction pattern provides warmth during periods of rest, while the targeted ventilation allows this fleece to breathe when worn as a standalone during high-intensity ascents, or on urban bike rides in the fall.
