This ultralight shell clocks in at 173-grams thanks to its pliant, waterproof and 100% windproof 3-layer Pertex Shield fabric construction. The North Face furnished this jacket with a pre-tensioned hood that’s helmet compatible. The exterior zippers are water-resistant, and the chest pocket features a stretch-mesh fabric, which has a clip-in loop for a harness.
